Lisa Bard
Denver Business Coach
Meet Lisa
Lisa has been in the marketing and publishing industry for the agriculture sector for more than 33 years – all of that as an independent business owner. What started as a sole proprietorship after the birth of her first son developed and expanded into an LLC that employed talented, skilled, and experienced women in remote locations who shared the core values of combining and balancing family with work and putting out a quality product.
Now as a business coach, Lisa excels in strategic planning for business owners, including addressing operations, training, marketing, and financial planning and management. She enjoys helping business owners set and achieve goals and overcome challenges that are holding them back from financial success, freedom and growth.

In Her Own Words
How Lisa Approaches Coaching:
What are your goals with your coaching clients?
My goal would be, first and foremost, to help clients achieve their goals. In many cases, to do that, a good coach first must help them identify, articulate and establish those goals and then prioritize them so that they can be achieved.
What types of business challenges do you excel at solving?
Getting owners to transition from working in the business as a technician to working on the business as a visionary is absolutely essential to their ongoing success. I enjoy helping clients with this and excel at this challenge.
What industries do you specialize in?
I am very comfortable and experienced in the marketing, publishing, communications and agriculture industries. These are the sectors I have spent my entire professional career in and I have institutional knowledge and experience in these sectors that is hard to learn from books. Particularly agriculture – you must live it to fully understand it – and I’ve lived it.
I am also very comfortable and versed in women-owned small businesses. There are particular challenges for women-owned small businesses that are not shared by men-owned businesses. From a coaching perspective, these differences matter.
I also have knowledge of and association with construction, outdoor recreation and trade companies. For these industries, SOPs, policies, procedures and best practices are vital – as is marketing, which is many times overlooked as a necessary piece to the business puzzle. I have experience with that puzzle.
